Departments vs. Employee Groups
Departments
- The manager of the department will be required to sign off on various reports (i.e., CAPA modules) where the department is associated.
- Departments can also be selected in an Approval Matrix where the department manager or authorized signers will be responsible for approving that document stage.
Employee Groups
- Employee Groups are created based on which employees receive specific training.
- This allows you to send out training to multiple users at one time.
- The Employee Groups can be assigned in the “Employee Manager.”
- One user can be a part of multiple employee groups.
